I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Diocese of Las Cruces Catholic Schools Web site, where we continue to Build the City of God beginning with a Spiritual and Academic Foundation. In the Diocese of Las Cruces, we have five Catholic elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school. If you are a parent, grandparent, or a friend or other relative, we deeply appreciate your interest in offering the child in your life a quality Catholic education.
Catholic educators in the Diocese of Las Cruces are working diligently to meet the needs of your children. In addition to offering a solid foundation in literacy, mathematics, history, and science, most importantly we are offering students an opportunity to learn more about their faith. We want to work with you to develop each child’s individual gifts and spirituality and we are committed to that goal.
Our Catholic Schools are more than institutions for learning, we make up an educational community that was established and sustained by dedicated faculty, administration, staff, and strong parental support througout the diocese. Our common goal is to accomplish what is in the best interest of the students academically and spiritually; to make them the keepers of the faith and provide guidance to them to make a lasting contribution to the global community. To this end, we strive to draw together students, parents, faculty and our parishes to sustain this purpose. The process of Catholic education commences at home, continues in our schools, in our parishes, and in our surrounding communities.
I invite you to take a moment to learn more about all of our Catholic Schools including our commitment to helping each student develop spiritually, academically, socially, physically, and morally. It is my hope that you will learn more about the great community of parents as well as the wider Catholic community whom continue to be the foundation of our schools' successes.
Finally, it is my prayer that you will consider the Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Las Cruces as your choice in educating your children. I encourage you to explore our schools to see what unique opportunities each school offers to its students and families. Thank you for visiting the web pages of our schools. Please do not hesitate to contact our office or the individual schools for information.
